2003 hilux sr5 3.0L TD buzzing noise, hilux intercooler

G'day, all, I have a 2003 dual cab SR5 hilux with the 1KZ-TE engine, my question is, when idling at traffic lights etc I have an annoying buzzing type rattle coming from the LHF dash/ engine bay area. As yet I can't pinpoint the noise, has anyone experienced this problem before? Also I would like to fit an intercooler to this vehicle, does anyone know what is available, Thanks.

Do you have a snorkle or bullbar?
I had a 2003 that did it after the bullbar was fitted.
Alot of bullbars somehow allow the inner guard to vibrate, my last D4D did as does my current one. Belt the bullbar in various
places with the side of a closed fist and you would be surises what rattles.
Also the alloy exhaust heat shield near the transfer case always vibrates annoying me.
Check them first

is the noise there with or without aircon on/ or off, because the pressure valves in the aircons can make a noise like that if it's faulty next time you hear the noise turn the aircon on to see if it goes away or has any effect or there could be a couple of pipes and or cables in the engine bay that only vibrator during idle which is the time on some diesels that everything and anything will rattle
or have you looked in the glove maybe your girlfriend has left her vibrator switched on???sorry can't help with the intercooler
