Hi,
i intend to drive from
Darwin to
Perth via the
Gibb River Road in October this year.
Where can I buy a Second Hand extra spare tyre for our rented BRITZ Adventurer
and other Second Hand 4WD accessoires in
Darwin?
Thank you very much for you answer.

Robby,
It may be
well worthwhile to ask the hire company to supply the equipment you require. A 2nd spare, recovery equipment,
first aid kit and compressor as a starting point, may also save time in trying to source those items before you leave ............. and what will you do with them at the end of your journey??
Just a thought and enjoy your trip.
Cheers,
Wayne & Sally.

Most tyre companies have second hand tyres but the rim you will probably have to go to a wrecker for. There are some in
Darwin and you should be able to Google them up.

WOW ... quick reply Robby,
sounds a little stange that they won't supply the equipment and it was just a thought.
Keep an eye on the EO Trader section and you may find your items there, or ask if any members are able to assist ........... worth a try too!
Cheers,
Wayne & Sally.

I like Wayne's response "It may be
well worthwhile to ask the hire company to supply the equipment you require." Don't forget to ask for a pump as
well.
We met a group at Turkey
Creek roadhouse who had hired one from
Perth. They had already had three punchures. The driver was
well and trully PEED off. Poor sod. Maybe (I say maybe) they could have saved the flats by letting the tyres down on the dirt etc. But if you do not have a pump how do you pump them up again. Worth a bit of thought anyway.
