I wanted to know what the 12ht injector pump idle damper did. I am trying to slow the rate at which the engine revs drop between gear shifts to allow easier shifting. I saw a thread earlier this year (HJ61 12ht idle compensation) where
the governor damper was adjusted to stop the motor stalling when the revs dropped to idle. I wanted to know if this actually slowed the rate of change of the revs from the point of releasing the throttle, or only acted when the revs were approaching idle. My motor revs drop quite quickly which is what I want to slow down. Thanks.
