G'day all,
Just a question to those that have a newer model KK - the models with the sink at the external end of the kitchen and the LED lights at the sink....
How/when does the LED lights on the sink work? Is it when the Gullwing/Kitchen lights are on - or when the tap operates?
My reason for asking is that I stacked the 100s and KK a while back and the KK is ready to pick up tomorrow - but it now has the new kitchen as opposed to the 2005 kitchen it did have. The repairers hadn't done a KK before and they have wired the LED sink lights to the tap....I don't think that is right.
Thanks in advance,
Tim - Stratford.

I have the same kitchen, but not the led light, but know that the led ISN'T wired to the pump..
I would assume it's wired to the kitchen overhead led ( although I would personally wire it to a separate switch )
E mail KK and get clarification if you like !!

Thanks Gronk,
My idea is too change the wiring to operate the sink light with the gullwing lights. Seems my repairer didn't do his homework or it was too hard to chase a couple of wires!
I'll also put a second switch to allow the sink lights to work totally independent.

Tim,
We have an 08 Platinum model so I am not sure how this may differ form any newer or older models. Our kitchen slide consists of two sets of led's, one running length ways underneath the kitchen and the other running width ways across the kitchen just tucked in behind the tap. Both of these led's are operated by a single switch which is located in the left-hand gullwing above the fridge along with most of the other light switches and battery and
water meters. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply Ben & Allison,
I'll change it to like yours with an extra switch as posted above in my other reply.
