Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone has attempted to fit a 100 or 105 series steering wheel ( no airbag ) on an 80 series steering column? Are the splines the same etc. Wouldnt mind a slightly more up to date steering wheel but not interested in momo etc

Hi Big Red,
It seems no one has tried it so hence the no response,if I was going to try it I would go to a wrecking yard have my wheel off in the car
park and ask the owner can you try one on and I'm sure most will say yes and if it fits and all looks safe buy it!

No worries thanks mate. I have heard some corolla
wheels may fit also. I think I'll take a trip to the wreckers. I like the look of the 105 steering wheel as they are nice and modern but dont have the airbag

Make sure it is an early 105, cos after mid to late 2002 they have the airbag,
mine is Aug 2002 and has airbag.
