Just a question for anyone in the know
If you have a 4x4 with cabin airbags can you have scrub bars attached to the roobar? or would they affect the activation of the roo bar and make the insurance company void your insurance.
Looking at the 3.0lt Mazda BT50 or Ford
Ranger.

Yes it will and yes it will. I will be getting some barwork similar to yours done to my new 79 series ute when it arrives. Airbags are affected by the side bars and that has to be taken into consideration. Will wait to see what ARB come up with. Any non standard or approved accessories that affects the performance of safety features will affect insurance and you can bet your bottom dollar that they would use any excuse to get out of paying you out.
Cheers Mick
