I have checked previous Threads re: Steinbauer Performance Modules, there doesn't seem to be much discussion about the use of these with the latest Common Rail Diesel Motors, ok I have checked all the information that the distributor has provided, but very little recent info from current vehicle owners who have actually installed the Modules on their own vehicles, my son is looking at getting one installed on his D40 Narvara, he tows Horse Floats and for $1450-00 he wants to make sure they are what the Manufacturers claim they are or what they can do.

Cheers

do a search over at newhilux.net and you will find these are the most highly regarded and appear to be the safest.

Hi Daza,

I put one of these units on my 100 series T/D last year after a lot of research.
it is great and I haven't had any troubles with it or anything else it is connected to. it did cost a little more but I'm pleased with the result.
I have a lot more power from starting. If I push the throttle all the way to the floor it will make the exhaust rattle as the extra gas is trying to get out.
Maybe a larger exhaust could improve this but how much power do I need.

Cheers
Henry.
