Hi
Just found this forum, and it's great to view comments from other Terrano owners. I have a 91 Terrano Diesel Turbo, and would like to fit a turbo timer to it. Has anyone been through this process before? If so, hope you won't mind supplying me with the know how - directions, wiring etc.
Cheers.

milham ,
Personally I wouldn't bother unless your'e prone to running hard under boost then wanting to pull up and jump straight out!
Just wind it down a bit before stopping and let it idle for a short time,I'd save the money for something else
Works fine on our TD Prado.
Just my idea though!!

Thanks Glen B.

I probably wouldn't bother, however, I got a brand new timer given to me as a gift from my kids. So I feel that I should connect it up. Plus, I do a lot of driving for work and need to as you mentioned (pull up and jump straight out!).

Ask your insurance company if you can first, they dont all allow Turbo Timers.

The import Terrano has a water cooled turbo and is supposed to run a bit cooler anyway. I don't know if that makes a difference or if many others have water cooling.. I wouldn't have a clue.
I just make sure that I let mine idle for a while after working it hard.
Around town I guess I don't bother.
Cheers
