hi to all.I know I'm grasping at straws however if you don't ask you will die wondering.I've just purchased a1982 poptop 15' Viscount Grand Tourer caravan in excellent condition and have been trying to find the original user's manual without success. If by chance someone has one and could let me have a copy it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in anticipation,

Hi kman1.
When I replied to your last post about changing tyres on your van I said that my "owners manual' mentioned tyre size as 185x14LT.
My owners manual actually is the only previous owners trip log where he recorded all pertinent information about his van. Example; the standard tyre was 185x14LT and he converted to 195x14LT on 15/11/98 to level the van behind his new tow vehicle.
It is very interesting reading where he travelled in WA and when, but it appears that nowhere was far off the bitumen as far as I can work out.
However I do have the original handbook for the gas stovewhich is original and the handbook for the 240/12 Engel replacement fridge if they are of any use to you.
The trip log also contains what I presume to be accurate info on various things fitted to the van.
House lights; 240V globes are 40W BC and the 12V are 21W BC.
Road lamps, Stop and indicator are 21W and tail and clearance globes are 5W, all festoon type
This may vary dependind on whether the lamps are original or not.
I note that there is NO mention of any sort of electrical fuses or RCD fitted to my van, and I have not been able to locate anything either.
If you wish to follow up I can be emailed at bevntony@omninet.net.au
Hope this helps
Disco.

THanks a lot disco,i am in the same boat regarding the RCD and fuses.Have been trying to get a waterproof RCD in line version to wire into the caravan 15amp lead, however i've had no success.Seems to me to fit an RCD in van would require too much demolition work.Am about to mount a battery on the drawbar and will incorporate 12v fuses in the connecting circuit.
