Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has any experience with fitting up spec seats in the old cruiser ute? Are there any that bolt straight in from another model or any other toyota seats that fit? Trying to avoid spending big dollars on aftermarket seats if possible.

Many thanks

Gezza

Most car seats will fit. All you have to do is match them to the current seat bases.

Once you start changing bases, they have to be fitted by an authorised installer.

I changer both seats in my old 47 Troopie with no hassles.

Thanks William,
So was it as easy as a bolt out bolt in install? I spoke to the wreckers as they said that vp, vr, vs all run the same seats so any should be fine, does that sound right to you?

Thanks again
