Thinking of buying a set of Goodyear Wrangler TG's 205x16 on 7x16 rims for the Troopy. Is anyone on these tyres currently, any constructive comments?? They seem to have nice open tread pattern to expel the dreaded mud. $265 each fitted.
Cheers....jeff (PS they only come in th e above size or 750RX16)

Neither size is suitable for your 16x7 rims. The 205R16 are 60mm smaller diameter than standard troopie tyres and too narrow for a 7 inch rim. The 750R16 are tube type and designed for the standard 5.5" split rims.
If you are committed to 16x7 rims, the best sizes are 265/75R16 or 235/85R16. Both are available in a huge range of LT tyres. On the troopie you'll need flares for 265's while with 235's you may get away without flares.
