Morning all.
Picked up a cheap Rodeo ute. Its an '89 diesel 4x4 with an Isuzu non turbo motor. I think it is 2.5 ltr
Anyone know what model designation it is please ?
And, if possible, what its weak pionts may be.
Cheers.....Lionel.

Yep they were, the Isuzu was probably earlier than 1989 and was still called a Rodeo, just did a search and they were called the Rodeo.

Even earlier than the Isuzu kb was the "Chevy Luv", 1600cc petrol later updated to 1800cc in the KB. The Luv had dual 5 inch headlights, 4speed trans and a H/L box. Front susp was torsion bar and standard leaf setup on the rear. they had a tendency to rust along the sill panel if not thoroughly washed out after beach work.
Son No1 had one for a good few years, ran it into the ground at 600 thou km, drove it to
the tip, took the plates off, and walked away.
Said it didn't owe him anything by then.
Disco.
