Thanks Diamond for fixing our brake problem with some ingenious bush mechanic skills. One is never too old to learn something. It was good tgo catch up and meet you in
Bendigo. The rest of our trip was uneventful although tiring. We arrived
home at 1.15am this morning. Can do with some more sleep.
Cheers,

Yeah, the front brake pads were surging and grating when stopping at traffic lights. I thought that the pads were worn out but they still had a lot of meat on them. Diamond took them out and roughened them up on the concrete slab outside the workshop and re-fitted them and they were as good as gold from there on. Must have been all that stop and go driving in the Big Smoke.

yea Glazing up is a real problem on brakes.
Im lookin to get some slotted rotors for
mine, apparently they increase braking power LOTS.
