anybody using 265/75/16 AT Tyres on a Jackaroo, mine is a 2000 petrol manual
l read on warning from a tyre company that you shouldnt go over 3% diameter to avoid brake damage but heeps of 4X4s have bigger tyres on them the Jackaroo has 245/70 tyres standard which limits me to 245/75s. help

With any increase in tyre size you increase the fulcrum load on the brakes. The warnings protect the tyre company from litigation, it bears no resemblance to what will happen to your vehicle.

Every decision is a choice and risk is involved with every choice. Me? I would slap em on and drive accordingly.

I personaly would not go bigger then 245/75 , but son has put 265/75 on his 02 Jack. No touching of guards but it has turned a good road vehicle into a dog imho, but he did put MTs on. Why do you want bigger tyres?. My Jack has gone everywhere I have wanted to go on standard 245/70. But I do like the power for towing.
Bold Jack also has 265/75 on.

Good day Kev,
When he got the Jack all he wanted was to be able to access camping sites, well the disease has bitten lol. Wants to do the wombats holes we done with Colin last week. Mind you I was the only one to lazy to let my tyres down, and still got up just
Phil is seriously thinking of coming to the Pyrenees with me, and now he has full on mts we will take his lol.
Very impressed with the 694 s though on mine.
Cheers Pete
