I have a Bravo 2600 on dual fuel, Have been trying to get it running properly for about three months. It runs perfectly on LPG but on petrol idles all over the place, hiccups when you accelerate and stalls. It also did the "airflow meter" which was expensive and was told this may have been caused by the problems. Two mechanics have had a go with no luck. It feels like it is getting air in somewhere. Throttle body has been off but appears to be sealing ok. I am at wits end, any ideas other than just using LPG!!! I need the petrol for trips.
Cheers
Matt

Hi Matt
Is your fuel old and possibly on the stale side? If so you may need to remove fuel tank, clean and add new fuel and possibly filter.
Has your fuel pump been checked for correct pressure?
Injectors could need cleaning.
Fuel rail may need attention, ie fuel pressure regulater or damper.
I know your frustration. Had similar problems myself and ended up selling car still with miss.
GOOD LUCK
regards Kc

KC,
I took for a hard run today on petrol with my thinking being might clear injectors. No change- rotten at idle and low revs butruns great over 1500 rpm. Hadn't thought about fuel quality, may give that a go and then flll up with premium.
Was advised that fuel rail is approriately pressured and fuel pump ok.
It runs perfectly on LPG but need to fix petrol for trips away when LPG is scarce. It will send me crazy!!
Thanks for your response.
Cheers
Matt.

There is a section that also needs to be cleaned, usually they soak the part in petrol for a few days , I just can't remember the name of that section , it's where everything inside is black ( carbon build up )
