Quite right Geoff, i have studied Australian politics for a good many years, grew up in a political family and have a keen understanding of how the system works and i have always maintained that for better or for worse, State governance should be abolished. The benefits i believe would far outway the risks involved with having factional corrupt state governments that constantly fight against the federal governing body.
Colin, yes i was there and i was amazed at what was said not only about the
suspension rules but also that old screwloose wants to ban trucks as
well!!!! What find even more amazing is how one person managed to draft up a document, have it presented to a minister, and that minister not being fully briefed before presenting to parliament as proposed legislation.
Government representation is about representing the constituency, after hearing that, i wonder if the ministers constituency feel they are being adequately represented when their government representative is clearly, at best incompetent.
This is a call to arms and a fight i would be willing to take up in earnest. This week i get the
suspension done on Miss
Turtle, heavy duty shocks, air-bags and a 2 inch lift. With the airbags i am, potentially in breach of the new laws already, then when i put the slightly larger tyres on later on,
well thats it, send me to jail as a hoon. I don't think so!!!!!
