Howdy All.

Do a fair bit of work in Goomalling and have done for many years.
Normaly its a town one passes through on their way to somewhere else and I've never seen any more than 3-4 vans parked in there.

Yesterday arvo the place was chokkas, vans, mobile homes even a huge 5th wheeler that would upset most yanks, poked its nose in.

Just wondering if anyone from here is amongst this mob and what is the occassion.

Cheers.....Lionel.

Hi Lionel,

Probably either the Art exhibition, the Produce Golf Day or the netball Grand Final...

The Dowerin Field days are finished. Maybe on the way to the wildflowers but Wongan Hills would be a better stopping place.

Hi Lionel

Could be a Caravan club, they select a place to go for a weekend. We see it occasionaly here in Gidgegannup they camp at the show ground from friday afternoon through to sunday.

At least Goomalling is a decent distant from Perth, i could never get over them travelling only 20km form the suburbs.

Hi Lionel, we had breakfast at Goomalling Thursday morning on our way up to the Wildflowers. As previously mentioned it could be a caravan club heading up to the wilflowers.

Cheers
