Hello, just wondering if any of you have fitted a shower (heat exchange) under the bonnet of a 79 series turbo engine. I have fitted it to a naturally aspirated model before but there seems to be less room in the turbo model. Would like to know where you have installed the "Heat Exchange" unit.

Cheers: Phil

Hi PF1

I put mine vertically behind the LHS headlight. Space is a problem particularly if dual batteries are fitted. Pump fitted next to exchanger and all seems to work OK for me. I think it would be easier with a heat exchanger that had all the fittings at one end. Regards Leigh

Mines on the left side firewall.
Easy to install and works like a dream.
