I just finished repacking the Caravan Boot, thought I could make more room by leaving out any unnecessary stuff that I haven't used as yet, no need to, Besides all the Electronic Gear fitted to the end wall and the 2 Batteries, I have
*1 x Side Winder Jack.
*1 x Wheel Brace.
*2 x Van Levelling Wedges.
*2 x Wheel Chocks.
*4 x 50mm x 150mm Timber Blocks.
*1 x Axe.
*1 x Tomahawk.
*1 x L/H Shovel.
*1 x L/H Broom.
*1 x Small Lump Hammer.
*Canvas Rope and Tent Peg Bag.
*2 x Potable
Water Hoses.Big and Small and various connectors.
*2 x Sullage Hoses. Big and Small.
*2 x 15 Amp Extension Leads 20mtrs and 10mtrs.
*Annex Floor Matting.
*Plastic Buckets.
*High Tensile Security Chain 2mtrs and H/D Lock.
I have plenty of spare room and the Van still is under weight, you see I weighed every thing lol lol.
Cheers

Nah Mark, the Navigator is always
well behaved, it's
the Pilot who needs special care,if he steps out of line he gets a sharp prod in the Ribs, and that Evil Stare puts the fear of God into him lol.

Daza
I'm just working on my KK at present. (Getting ready for EOM).
When I had the caravan, things were dead easy. This CT stuff has me stumped. Been mulling over it all week and still scratching my head as to where to put everything.
Autofridge 73 litre in camper (pickup Wednesday) SWMBO's frig/freezer.
Engel 40 litre with top cooler to reside in vehicle (beer fridge ;-) )
Don't need anything else ....
Malcolm

With Daza being a Plumber I doubt that it would be a Long Handled shovel ;)

* No van levelers, alcohol does that.
* No wheel chocks, it has a hand brake.
* One size
water hose, fittings take care of that.
* One size sullage hose + one bucket does the job.
* What you have. Also!!!! you only need a rope on the missus for security, forget the chain...less weight.

Hi Rockape
We use the chain to lock up one of the Engels under the awning, we chain it to the Caravan Springs, I know they can knock off what's in side it but I try to make it difficult to take the fridge.

I am in trouble the old Viscount does not have a boot, but I do have a good tool box on the back which I put all or most of my fire wood, axe etc in. And the rest goes under the bed including the grog hahahahaha

G'day Daza,
Everything that will fit, and if I can fit a cigarette paper in when I'm finished, I haven't packed it correctly! At least nothing moves around in there when we go over the bumpy stuff.
Cheers

I hope none of the electronic gear is able or likely to produce even a tiny spark!! Charging batteries emit hydrogen gas and caravans can go up like Zeppelins ! Even sealed batteries will vent gas if a fault developes and they build up pressure.

G/Day Ian
The manufacturer installed Fluted Wall Vents adjacent to the Electronic Equipment and Batteries to allow for this.
