Hi all,
I'm posting this for a friend who asked me if $2000 sounded like a fair price to pay to have a tow bar fitted to there Kia ,I said WHAT!! 2 grand! that sounds a bit steep and they agreed and said yeah that's why I'm asking ,so I am also asking anyone out there with a Kia if this is about right as they love there 4B and to be honest I was very impressed with its performance on
Stockton Beach it didn't get into any trouble and they were having a ball to my surprise,so if anyone can tell me of any
places in the Penrith area or western SYD that would be great .

As most Hayman Reece towbars go for under $600 and quite often under $500 I would say its excessive in the extreme.
I would expect the
suspension upgrade pack AND the towbar for that.
Some one is having a lend of him.
Buy one and fit it yourself.

Johny Boy,
Sounds like a combination, rear bar and wheel carrier and tow bar at that price.

I paid $700 last year for a towbar on my Kia Sorento and I reckon that was a bit of a sting as
well!

Johnny boy
Mine was fitted by my local Kia dealer (Morphettvale SA) but any Kia dealer will do. It is 2800 kg rated and the fit is very tidy. I don't know about 'bars to protect the plastic bar protruding out the sides'.
Cheers
Barry

Go for a HR or BTA (Boronia Engineering) Class 4 hitch receiver.
