Heading up to Forster - Tuncurry soon. Just an R&R break for a week - any recommendations on van parks with plenty of grass for the camper trailer and hopefully a good pool for the kids?
Cheers

Just a bit further up the highway is
Harrington .
We stopped there for three nights and really liked it.

Stinz,
We stayed at Hapy Hallidays at Hallidays Point in May and enjoyed it.
Otherwise, I would also recommend
Harrington. We have visited several times a year for as long as I can remember. The Big4 Caravan
Park on the edge of
the lagoon has plenty of space. You also have access to
Crowdy Head, and via road or beach (permit available from bait
shop) to
Crowdy Bay National Park and
Diamond Head (where we also camped in April).

Stinz,
You can try Forster caravan
park right on the
water front (breezy though) dont know if they have a pool though. Tuncurry Caravan
Park by the Rockpool is a nice spot though too (but NO pool though).
We spend every xmas holiday at LANI'S Caravan
Park at Forster out next to Smugglers Cove and the Forster Shopping Village end of town. They have TWO pools and you could get a grassy spot by
the lagoon if you ask when you book....you can also
camp out on the Island itself (only
toilets out there though and you have to drive or ride back into the main
park for showers and pool) but it is very spacious out there and you could have a
camp fire etc of a night. They have a 30 metre rule whereby you ARE NOT allowed to
camp within 30m of another
campsite which gives you oddles of space and privacy. There is also a
boat ramp out on the island and fish cleaning tables etc...it is fun for the kids riding bikes out there as
well as there are loads of dirt road tracks to safely ride along on the island.
Have a good trip

Have a look at Treachery
Camp near Seal Rocks.
Fantastic
Camp Ground for caravans, campers and tents. Very clean, good amentities and the the swimming pool in Australia, The Pacific Ocean.

I've stayed at Smugglers cove...nice
park, good pool....got smashed by the mozzies at night :-)
I always now stay at the Forster
Park right at the Bridge. No pool, but a very short walk to
the beach (which has a pool) on one side and the other side short walk to safe fishing. Don't have to drive anywhere as it is right in town.
Clean amenities (Managers a bit rude sometimes)....fair price.
