80 MILE BEACH WA BURNT OUT CARAVAN?

Hi All,
We were recently at 80 mile and on the road into the van park we sadly saw the remains of a recently burnt out caravan!!!

Just wondering if anyone knows the story behind its remains???
Would be interesting to know

I took a picture of the burnt out caravan when i was there 3 weeks ago,
for the life i me i can not remember what happened.

Coming through that way we heard about this story, and I'm pretty sure it had something to do with a gas leak. The van was still hooked up to the car when it caught on fire and the owner just go the car unhooked in time, so the owners were left with whatever was in the car - and their lives luckily.
