Hi, can anyone help? I have a GPS with a 2.5mm av in plug which I want to plug a reversing camera in. Problem is the camera has a RCA plug[yellow video plug]. Can I cut the yellow plug off and solder a 2.5mm plug on? Any one done this before? Brian.

Don't do it. the inner cable is very flimsy and it is not easy to do.
Get an adapter. Or make an adapter cable but DO NOT KILL your camera
cable.
good luck
