The only info I found from local dealer is "they are ONLY petrol 4 x 2". I quickly lost interest.

Personally I wouldn't be interested in any vehicle (or van) that hasn't proven its pedigree by doing a trip to the cape and back virtually unscathed.

Don't forget it has to also tow a Kedron caravan to really prove how good it is.

Smally
No haven't any experience with them, and no regulars on this site are likely to have had any either, however, be warned, that won't stop crusty purists putting them down with vague, baseless smart-ass comments.... they need to justify over-rated mainstream brands - you soon get used to it.

That said, there is a 4x4 version parked down the road today. Looks like the sides (doors) & tub are the same as a rodeo/dmax. The front - well that's different. the 2x4 version has a front end borrowed from the D22 Navara.
Take one for a test drive - then you'll be able to post on here what they are like from 1st hand experience! Probably not a bad vehicle.
Just remember what was said about "Jap crap" back in the eighties.....
Well, most stuff we have these days is made in china!

Cheers

X2 Im always amused by those who will run chinese cars down because"they cant build quality" while typing away on a computer and screen made from parts from the PRC ,not too mention nearly every other appliance in their household.

I predict the Chinese auto industry will replace the Japanese car makers ,the same way the Japanese replaced the big American car makers in a decade or so.
BMW have been making all their cars there ,except the 7 series for some time

My understanding is that they are the old Mitsubishi Triton. If so they should be ok as long as the build quality is there.
