Hi Shaker, that would be $688 to fill up our vehicle, when we were there we had to fill up and then top up again as we had to do a run out to Telfer Minesite to pick up some shockies for another vehicle that was in our convoy, oooh big bucks for just one tank of fuel

Cheers

Far out brussell sprout

Needless to say that was also my nickname as a kid.

Thanks for the info. We'll factor that in to our budget next year (or the next year ...)

Russler

It was $2.20/l in 2005 when we did the Kidson, so you may have to factor that in as well.

$3.20 this year and we needed 1040.8 L

Cheers

I hope not Richard LOL. Them troopy's are mighty thirsty. It was $3.20 last year as well. Cotton Creek (Parrngurr) on the Talawana has been $4.00 per litre for two years running.Capricorn Roadhouse is about $2.80 (I think).

Cheers Mick.

(P.S. I only needed a little over a hundred litres at Kurnawarritji this year LOL).

Is it best to get a fuel drop at well 23 or carry enough fuel to make it to the Kunawarritji community?
I will be in a 80 series Tojo, can anyone give me an idea of fuel usage to do the CSR including all the side trips to see the sights. I will be carrying 300L of diesel.
