I have a friend who spent some years exploring Qld and says that an old timer told him of Langans Track, somewhere near
Tully he thinks. It was a track cut out when the PMG (remember them?) was looking at
routes for running telephone wires. The old timer says that it went through some amazing rainforest and waterfall country with spectacular
views. I can't find a mention anywhere Google, Natmap etc.
Anyone have any information?
Thanks in advance.

There is/was a track that we used to drive around 15 years ago called the H road that went from the
Tully river crossing on the
Tully to
Cardstone power station road up to the Tablelands near Milla Milla
I am not sure if this is the one you are referring to though
Like most of the old tracks around
Cairns that we used to drive (The Bump/Top of Goldsbrough/East Black Mountain road/Goldsbrough to Butchers
Creek Mail Track) it is probably a walking track now
