As i've written in the title is it too late?
Will there be any
water in the crossings?
Will it be too hot?
Planning on leaving mid-late Sep next year.

No it is not to late although it will be warming up to around 30 to 35c and normally dry
One advantage of going then is less people, down side is the roads will be at their worst. Will still be a little
water in the crossings.
Have a good one

No not to late - As stated above - road MAY BE starting to fall apart after the earlier grades, there will still be some
water in the crossings, days will be warm to hot but the nights will still be Ok to sleep. October can see a few of the early storms, September can still have some showers over the Cape.
Bonus it the Barra should be on the chew :-). Cheers Tony

In 06 there was still plenty of
water around in September, BUT there had been a late wet season, and this year has been drier.
Be prepared also for lots of strong wind anywhere near the east coast.
Cheers, John
