Hi,
I've noticed on another
forum some people are replacing the 4.2 turbo diesel air filter box lid with the ZD30. It supposedly has a lot less restriction and better air flow rate.
Has anyone one on this site done this and if so what have you found??
Anyone know of a cheap source for one?
Thanks

I guess you're referring to the thread on Patrol4x4
forum.....it's been getting a lot of hits and contributions.
There is a bloke also on that
forum, advertising to sell his 3 litre engine, cos he's getting a Chev 6.5 fitted. Now, he hasn't mentioned the air cleaner, but he will not be needing the Nissan part once the Chev goes in because there will be a much larger Donaldson air cleaner being fitted as part of the conversion.
Here is the ad.

Thanks Roachie,
Would be good to know if it really does make any difference. Not just perceived which is easy for any of us.
