I checked out a 100 series TD with the HO kit on it yesterday and was suprised to find the kit maintains the orgininal factory dump pipe???
What's the story there???? I thought one of the biggest improvemnts on these was the addition of the 3" pipe.
I understand all the other exhaust upgrades use a 3" dump pipe....why not the HO kit???
Regards
Andrew

I have a 3"mandrel exhaust on
mine and it has a 3 1/2"dump pipe that came with it.
Dont know what brand it is but I got it installed at Sandgate in Brissy
AMMS or EMMS bit not M &M's lol
The bigger dump pipe is quite significantly larger than a standard one.
The lot cost under $1200 fitted and Dynoed.

Put a Safari Dtronic in at the same time and its gone from 145hp at the
wheels to 165.2.
Goes much better and doesnt blow black smoke if you poke your boot right into it from a standing start.
Well worth it I reckon as Im on the big trip towing 2.8t most days.

Thanks Graham but I'm down South about 3 Hrs from
Perth. I think I'm going to get the system soon anyway and hope to have it done in the few weeks.
I already have the Dtronic...
But thanks for the offer.
