Hi Everyone
When I purchased my Prado, I had the interior treated by the dealer. Ming??

I find I cannot stick velcro on any of the interior. Is there something that I can use to remove a small portion of this treated area so I can stick velcro on it?

Thanks for any forthcoming replies.

Cheers

Howard.

Tried Metho.
Velcro did stick for about a day then it just fell off the plastic. Tested the Velco I was using thinking its the velcro but its still stuck on my CT.

Try Acetone (aka Nail Polish remover).

i a word of warning
to the unwary do not used "acetone" on upholstery or paint work as it will rip the surface off and leave a very obvious bare patch. yuk oh no !!!

Hi Howard
Try Medi wipes at chemist in moistened wipes.
It is Alcohol the same as what is given out by the RTA to clean the windscreen to put on the toll senders on.

Hi Howard
White Spirits is good also. It is very similar to what they use when you get cloths dry cleaned.

Have just put in an brake controller and instead of drilling holes I thought I could
velcro it to the drivers side of the console. It seems to stick for a while and then just falls off.
As I said before I thought it may be the velcro but I have tested it on my CT and put the non sticking down to the interior treatment Toyota did to it.

Cheers

Howard.
