Satalite Broadband Issues - Maybe the dust

Having real troubles keeping a connection today, maybe the dust makes the connection intermittent?
Anyone else having an issue?

If there is dust where you are, or the satellite ground station is, then yes.
I don't know who your provider is, but it is eminently possible.
Their support site or helpline will be able to confirm.

I had a Telstra Satellite connection a few years back. We would lose connection as soon as as rain started falling to the west.
I would have no doubt dust would cause the same problem

No dust up at Tinaroo, but heaps of smoke. No problems using wireless connection.
