g'day everyone hope your having a great time at
St George, just a short note to tell you of a great attraction just out of
St George. For anyone interested in seeing great collection of a variety of Australian birds, the Rosehill station aviaries is a must. we visited there about 3 months ago and they told us it was closing down about October. The owner only charges a couple of dollars admission and it was worth it just to see his collection of stubbie holders that record his travels to just about every corner of Oz.If you ask he may even show you a map of Australia that he has marked all his travels on,it's amazing ,and i only hope i get to see at least 1/2 the country he has seen.the stubbie holders are in a cabinet that cover a large section of wall.does anyone else have any great ways of recording their travels.

Thank for that John.
I am leading a side trip from
St George to
Bollon next week and the aviary is included in that trip. Will look out for the stubbie holders as I also collect them.
This is my last post from home, leaving in 30 min for
St George.
Colin.
