Three guides come to mind, Johnny
Mitchell (
http://www.fishawoonga.com.au/), Jas Wilhelms (Barramadness) (
http://www.barramadness.com/), Rod Harrison lives at Awoonga Caravan
Park. Bookings usually required.
Been out with both Jas and Rod, Jas has a fantastic setup, top boat and all are good guides. You might have to try all three to get one that is not booked.
All know the area very
well and should be able to help.
Do search under barra guide Awoonga or on individual names
Regards
Trev

If you can't find anyone in
Gladstone try
Agnes Water and 1770.

HI Barb
I dont think there are any day charters running out of
Gladstone. Could be wrong but my wife works for a charter boat company in
Gladstone and she is always directing people to 1770.
Hope this helps
Howard.
