Jokar
Wanting to hear any suggestions on
camping spots by the sea in Vic. Have a dog so national parks are out and not interested in caravan parks. Any suggestions for a family of five in a camper trailer wanting a bit of not too crowded space?

McGaurans Beach 10km SW of Seaspray , almost perfect free
camp just behind dunes . Can launch small boat , no ramp sand only to waters edge.
Bandwidth is to small to upload photo to-night.

Are you allowed to drive on the 90 Mile Beach?

Hi Shaker
As per my note above , there are a couple of large signed areas with no ramps but where you can drive to waters edge and launch small boats (4wd only as its just sand) .

Hi Rossco
Its between Mclaughlins and Seaspray , 10km from sea spray
The co-ords above the pics are GPS ones ( 55 H 511207 5746822)
The road is labelled on my garmins whereis GPS maps but not the beaches name. Its also directly south of Gifford
Maybe your used to Lat/Lon (South 38 26.861 East 147 06.116)
You can even explore and have a little 4wd adventure there, but I think most go there for the surf fishing.

Thanks Robin
I've found it now on google earth.
I think I will take Mrs Rossco there on the maiden run in the new
Kimberley Karavan. For starters anyway.....
ETA mid Feb 2010.
It looks a great spot for a bit of R&R on
the beach.
Regards
Rossco

G'day Jokar. Google up " Oz Camps " There's a state by state listing of free and low cost
camp sites. You should be able to find something suitable there. Cheers.

Corringle Beach, just short of
Marlo is as good as it gets.
You
camp within 50 yards of the Lake and a 200 yard walk to the the Surf Beach and Surf Fishing.
You'll need to book with the
Ranger.
Jim.

try Blanket bay or Glen aire or Johane beach, all in the
Otways on the west coast.
