Go with the aux tank, then if you hole your main you have the sub tank to go on with.
The LRT's are 147ltr and are around $800+
But to setup the Aux tank will cost you a bit, the tanks are going for $250 and thats cheap, then theres pump and pipes etc to go on with. cost you close to $500 fitted.

Truckster.. $250 for an aux tank?... Where abouts?
I was going to do away with the pump idea and just have them self-draining into each other if i can get the aux at the right height..._____________________________________________

I have Long
Ranger tanks from ARB in my GQ diesel. The aux gravitates into main, no trans pumpms at all. A great idea for remote travel as less stuff to go wrong. Works fine for me , it has been now for two years without any worries at all.
Dunno where truckster can get an aux tank for $250
mine was just over a grand fitted.Bush Bappo's 4WD Club
Get out there & have a look
