Recently I was lucky enough to get away for a few daysImage Could Not Be Found with a few friends. From AS we headed up the Tanami and across to Mt Wedge. From there we headed east on the Mt Denison Rd to the Sandover Hwy and down to Delmore Downs via Utopia and Waite River. Then east to the Bundy River and north to the Davenport Range National Park on Binns Track.Image Could Not Be FoundImage Could Not Be FoundImage Could Not Be FoundImage Could Not Be FoundImage Could Not Be Found
Funnily, when the moonrise shot was taken I had not long before seen a 3m snake as thick as my arm about 20 meters behind where the car was parked. Reassuring myself it was a Woma or some such, we settled on the ground in our swags for the night. When we got back my research revealed that it was a King Brown or Mulga snake. Yikes.

Thanks Bob for the beautiful pics.

Pics like these inspire me - you too I guess, for your next trip.

You are braver than I am. I sleep on my ute tray away from most creepy critters :)

Cheers Ian

Great Photos Bob. Thanks for that. Mick. P.S. Striped, brown or black they all like a warm cuddle on a cold night LOL. Love my roof top taj mate!
