Navigator 1

Open OziExplorer

click "LOAD" drop down then click "Import GPX File"

I haven't got any GPX files so I don't know what happens next.. :-)

This is with Version 3.95.5e

Cheers

Hi Richard
If you want to create your own GPX files, it is very easy. Load multiple tracks that you have saved as a trial run. Load some normal saved tracks that you have saved, but make sure that they follow on from each other(not important, but will make your new GPX File easy for you to view as a new one complete track) and in the Save section, select "GPX Export to GPX File (Wps and Tracks) Follow the on screen details. The new track is then saved in GPX format, but only in one complete track (If you had say 5 tracks all joining each other, your new GPX files will now only be 1 long and complete track in GPX format)

After saving this new GPX file, make sure that you know where it is saved. Closes Ozi, and then go back in as normal and reload your newly save GPX file. To reload this newly saved and complete GPX track, go to the load button, select GPX Import GPX file (Wps and Tracks). and your newly saves and named file can then be selected. Once loaded, your previous 5 separate tracks will now be one complete GPX track.

Have a play and save a few of your files and see what happens.

Cheers

Stephen

Hi Navigator
If you see my reply to Richard above, that is how it is done. Open Ozi, then hit the Load Button and go gown to GPX select GPX Import GPX file (Wps and Tracks). and then go to the file that you have the saved the GPX file in. Highlight that file and it will open just as a normal track file and the GPX file will be shown.

All the best

Stephen

Thanks Stephen

I didn't think I new anything about GPX files, but I read your reply did what you said and when I saved it there was already a gsak file already there.

So I must have done it before.. LOL

There is a small web site here in WA, camping WA that I am a member of and they have GPS file upload site, and as you should know by now, I'm a plot file junkie ;-), so I have started to up load file to there site for other people to use. I must have fogot.. :-)

The thing with me is that with the NavNet system I run I save the hole trip so I don't have to Append Track files anymore, just one very big file (plot) that I then break down into smaller treks.

I really enjoy it it adds to my trips, I do a lot of trips just to get the plot file... Scary hey.. LOL

Thank agian
