Come on, enough already.
if anyone wants to put their 2 bobs in about the speed issues this site is facing, they can surely post it on one of the half dozen or so already created posts on this topic! Must a new one be created every time?
Cheers
Mark
(On no - I created another post doing this!! - buggar)

I think it comes down to how quickly posts move off the first page here - no posts in a thread for a day or two and it's almost impossible to find - and search is no fun with the frustratingly slow speeds around here... :p

I think the forums really need a "BUMP" system . In other forums a hot topic for example can be bumped back to the top or the 1st page everytime someone replys to it. That way the topic gets the position it deserves and everntually drops off as the postings do.
With the current system a hot thread dissappears off the 1st page as soon as someone posts a new thread, this doesn't make sense for a lot of reasons.

You could try the radio button under the
forum display options for:
"Sort results by - Response Time"
The the popular threads are always to teh top.

Why??? It's the noisy hinge that get the oil !!!!
The more complaints- the better chance of getting it fixed !!

I don't know what the hassle is all about, I fixed the problem ages ago.
I just read slower and type slower.
It works for me, I used to wait or telegrams that took a day to get to you.
Now with all the new speeds, I have trouble mixing a rumbo up before I get an answer or reply to a post or question.

Maybe if everyone stayed of the site and give them time to fix it and when up and running properley they could just email us and we could try again

Ahh, I hear you, it's a
sign to get out n about, with no internet access while away!!
A lot from here were at
St george, so not on here but it wasn't enough!
They don 't need everyone to stay off the site for this, they will just shut down the servers for a while (middle of the night) and work on a fix then.
Cheers
Mark
