Recently i was given an early model ( jtt0179) Engel fridge freezer it has 6 controls, off, ref, 1, 11, 111, freeze, the previous owner said that it had not been going for about 10 years or so,
well i brought it home plugged it in turned it on and away it went, set it on freeze, run it for about 3 hours or so and it seemed to be cooling down, then turned it off as i noticed that there seemed to be
water under the bottom inside plastic skin, tilted it on it's side and drained the
water from it, then later in the day turned it on again let it run again for 3 or 4 hours again but nothing was happening in the cooling department, so was wondering if there is any body out there that could help me in any way with what is happening, motor run's good but it's not cooling down, i was also wondering if i should spend dollars on getting it seen to or just give it a miss. there can't be much wrong with it when it started to cool down previously, before i tilted it on it's side, also if i did get it fixed or find out what the problem is would i be able to run it off a Robin Generator by Fuji 550W 2 pole revolving type.
Hope somebody out there can help or put me on the right track as what to do. it won't be getting used that much just 3 or 4
camping and fishing trips.
