Hi all, any thoughts from a 75 series owner or ex-owner on which uhf would fit straight in to the console below the radio? I have an over head console which is perfect for maps etc and would like to keep the uhf in the dash as opposed to up above. Thoughts appreciated!

Hi Troopy 1,
I fitted a GME TX3400, remote head fits quite good under the radio. The main piece I have fitted on the right hand side of the dash.
I have also fitted a remote speaker in the middle of the overhead console.
Works
well for me.
Cheers
Michael

My 79 series cab chassis has an Icom 400pro in that spot. I think it should be able to take any DIN or smaller sized unit and thus leave your overhead console for other things.
