I would like to know more about EOTrackMe ...that is how I could impliment this on my web site to track my hot air balloon fleet. Is this a technology you guys have developed in house or is it readily commercially available now?
Many thanks

Graham,
Thanks for your interest in this new product. As you may know I have been away hence the delay in responding. Currently the product is in development/
alpha stage however I would be happy to work with you to provide this service to your fleet. I have been working with the iPhone app on our research trip however the Symbian (Nokia & Samsung phone) software I have is better as it will store and forward positions if the object goes out of service. I will be working a more now with this software.
In terms of delivery of the interface to websites - I have not built this into our mapping engine yet however there are a few simple options as I have built the system using fully standard technologies so making a mapping front end that can read the information and putting on your site should be fairly simple.
Our current model for the product is to make it a free member offering - so one mobile phone per
membership record - thus you would only need to have a
membership account for each balloon. The data can then be collected and displayed as required.
So I guess the answer is yes we can do what you want and I would be happy with work through it with you. Of course if there are parts of the requirement for you that fall outside of the ExplorOz
services then we would need to negotiate a suitable development rate for these but I think for your requirement these would be minimal and as a test/pilot site I would be making the rates attractive.
if you wish to discuss this further please feel free to contact me via email or phone and we can work out a plan (david@exploroz.com - 08 9403 3737).
David
