Hi all,
I am new to this
forum (great site) and am looking at purchasing some cooking gear for a Conqueror Conquest Camper trailer I have just bought.
The camper came with a companion two burner but I want something for roasting and bbqing
I have narrowed it down to two (I think) the Cobb Cooker or the Weber baby Q.
Has anyone ever had the opportunity to compare the two against each other pro’s cons etc?
I have searched on this
forum and while I have found a lot of information individually I was hoping for some feedback from people that had experience with both.
TIA

We have a 2 burner "el-cheepo" Chinese cooker, in our Trak Shak, and it is plummed into a 9kg gas bottle.
I had to hack saw off some of the legs, to make it fit, but 4 years without any dramas, so far
Works a treat, and are available at any
camping store, for around $30.
I do miss a griller, but then again we are limited to size.
Cheers Bucky

The cobb runs on solid fuel, the baby q is gas.
I have a mate that bought a webber q and it now replaces the BBQ he used to take with him on trips, from all reports hes happy with it.
The cobb I have had no dealings with, I was looking at getting one but Im currently happy with my
camp oven and the bottom of a 60 ltr drum and heat beads if fires aren't allowed.
The major differences are the webber can also be used as a bbq.
Cheers

We use a baby Q at home - whilst the old 4 burner just sits idle. Wife says it is absolutely fantastic. Roast lamb is a treat. She now does all the cooking, whilst I watch the TV. LOL
Still consider it a little large to take in a camper.
