Does anyone know if there is easy access to the
Latrobe River at Starlings Gap?
Anyone know if recent rains and associated raised river levels have had (or are likely) to have any impact on the campground?
Is this
camp ground popular with trail bike riders? (I try to stay away - prefer the sounds of the birds)
Thanks, Tim Owen.

No theres not. If thats what you're after I'd keep heading along the Little Yarra Rd towards Neerim and stay at the campgrounds along there. Starlings Gap is a nice little spot but is high above the river. Make sure if you stay there you take the time to have a look at the
Ada Tree. Its a great little walk and
well worth the while. There a re a few motorbikes up that way, but not enough to put you off. Weekends are by far the worse.
