Hi Bruce

That photo of the MU and the van must have been taken at your home before a trip as the bonnet on the MU is down and nothing has broken on the car yet.....LOL
Sorry mate couldn't help myself.

Bruce,

Nice van shame about the Tug. Looks like you spent all your money on the van and had to pick up any old Tug with the change LOL!!!! Strange to see it with the bonnet down as Ross said.

;-))))))))))))))))

Cheers, Trevor.

Not ours, but we met up by chance with people from home. The van is 1958 and they have been on the road since March last year. After we met up with them at Porcupine Gorge, others met them at Carnarvon Gorge. They were at the time travelling with another couple with a similar aged outfit - colour co-ordinated mainly grey.

I only could a quick glimpse, but a couple of days ago, a real Vintage car passed, towing a very tiny caravan with the appearance of wood panelling - i don't know it was the age of the car.

Hi Paintar, strange you should put that photo up, last night we free camped at the Murchison River Crossing here in WA and one of those pulled in there to camp the night as well, hubby and I commented on the age and size of it when it came in.
BTW Our caravan is a 2000 Jayco Westport.

Cheers

Hi All,
Just in case anyone wants to follow up on old caravans there is a website catering for all interested in older vans

Google:- vintagecaravans.com.au .
There is a guy in the Bridgtown (WA) area very active in restoring and using vintage 'vans.

Disco.
