As some of you know I bought two of the led stip lights from the EO
shop and tested them out at the
St George gathering. The lights worked great with plenty of light under the annex at night on yellow. We didn't use the white light much at night but
bright enough to
cook by. Sorry dont have any pics but others that seen them working at night were very impressed. The only down side is that they do not come wired up to the three way switch and as it is quite small it was a bit fiddly to wire up. I mounted both switches into a small pvc
junction box with an old 12v light cord coming out the other side with a ciggerette plug on the end. All up lights worked great and would highly recommend them.

Hi
Ross H...
I must agree with you on the Led Lights. I puchased two from the EO
Shop and found the same with the switch. I found that the wiring from the lights very fidelly (wires to small) and the only way to connect it was to solder them to the switch. I agree with you about the amount of light you get from the Yellow at night. I was camped down behind the female shower block and found it was very easy to find my way back to the Tvan from the
Camp Fire without getting mugged. HaHaHa. I also had six Solar lights ($20 from Bunnings) that I placed at my awning tent pegs to save campers tripping over them. As with yourself, A great buy... Steve B...

Saw them working as
well.
Impressed that even after they fell over with the wind, they were still working OK.
We were on the opposite side of the
toilet block to Ruzz. :o)
Colette now knows what I have been talking about.
Not many night insects though to really test out the effect of of the yellow.
Our white lights were OK too.
Good to hear you both got home OK.
We had an uneventful run home too, better than the run up, no head wind on the run home.

Good to see you got home safely too John.
We went home through
Warwick to check out some of the dams and
camp grounds out that way, boy are the dry and dusty with no grass. Think a few beach camps may be on the cards for a while.

Had lots of different white LED lights running over the weekend.
I didn't see any insects attrated to any of them.
I thought it was only white fluoro lights that had the problem with insects ?
