Based on reports here and elsewhere I purchased a prodigy P3 controller for my Terracan.
Reading the installation instructions they state that the controller needs to be mounted horizontal and parallel to the direction of travel.
This seems to contradict what I have read regarding mounting of the unit
can anyone clarify.
thanks

i have fitted a few of these to different vehicles.Allways followed instructions and never had a problem, As bearded fish said follow instructions.
This is not one of those situations where "if all else fails read the instructions" applies.

"1. Front of the P3 must be horizontal.
2. The P3 must be parallel to the direction of travel."
That means the unit must not lean to the left or right.
It can be installed at an angle front to back.
The centre line must be in line with the direction of travel.
