Hi Wombat,
Check the Archives or go to Googlew type in De Grey Mullewa and go from there. Either way it brings you to the same position.

Wombat,

We travelled this way back home the other week. Is there anything I can assist you with. We will be compiling a trek note for this shortly - things are very busy so it may take a little while to get official notes out but if you have someting specific at the moment I may be able to help.Regards

Hi David,

I made inquiries about this stock route here last year and was left to conclude that it was no longer passable. Obviously I was wrong. Where did you pick it up and leave it? What was the route like (conditions, scenery, interest etc)?

Hi Wombat, Heres a pdf file that you may or may not have seen. From the heritage council.

Wayne/Wombat,

I'd check with the Mullewa tourist information centre before embarking on the heritage trail section referred to in this brochure. We were there last year and discovered that most of it is officially closed due to mining activity near Tallering Peak. At the time (Sept'02) the TIC were trying to negotiate tourist access to the Peak from the mining company concerned but weren't having any luck. Damn shame...

Thanks Miff. We'll be through that way in 2 weeks time, so we'll check it out and get back to you. Can't wait :-) Maybe Dave will have his notes up by then?
Ciao,
Wayne
