Hi all,
Have just came from Cameron Corner and had a great time. My new Prado didnt miss a beat and only suffered from stone chips but my jayco camper (road series suffered more.Hard cover on spare disappeared between Arkaroola and Tippaburra, van level gauges went awall and front legs lost their pads.Cosidering the road it faired well. We have been thinking about up dating to an off road Eco-tourer and am hoping some one has got one and used it in simular area or terrain and how they survived ( or not). Our camper was part filled with red dust but are any vans dust proof Regards Theo

I have an off highway Eco Tourer and although I have not done any serious off highway I find it very good. See here for some reviews Product Review - Eco Tourer If you go to the second page of the first review and find the one from tassyterry you will find she has been everywhere including the Gibb River Road. She is very helpful if you email her from the link in the review.
