Hi,
My radio aerial in a GQ patrol stopped working (can't raise or lower it). The motor still runs when the switch is on but no movement of the aerial. I've got to pull it apart on the weekend. Any ideas from those that it may have happened to, does a gear strip or, or, or. Any easy fix solutions?
Thanks

Ray,
You might find when you pull it a part that the belt that is used to raise/lower the aerial may be broken or damaged. You should be able to buy a replacement cable at Supercheap or one of other auto stores.

~$35 for the new mast for the electrical ariel from autobarn, and comes with instructions. (complete new non electrical 1 is 1/2 that)
The bloke said however, that they had had issues with it not fitting in the motor in the past, but take it try it and if it doesnt fit bring it back.
price of a new Nissan electrical unit is the price of 2 tires.
