Anyone seen the photo in today's west page 12. It is an EO cap being worn in the Great Southern Adventure race.

David,

Isn't this regarded as Self Promotion/Advertising?? hehehehe

What was your official finishing place??

Self promotion, not at all showing the EO cap in the newspaper must be worthy of a mention and on topic - I hope. I will scan the page and upload it....

We can 14th overall however we have a few questions to ask the officials yet about bonus time credits that we earned but were not given this could have possible moved us up to 12th however 12th or 14th is still better than last years DNF. I was a little un-fit for the event as I had only just recovered from my cracked rib before the last event and had returned only two days before the event from a trip so my training has been down a little for the last 5-6 weeks.

I will blog about the weekend in due course and will be back into the office tomorrow to catch up with the operations as I have been out basically for the last 3 weeks.

Ummmm!!! I will do a bit of research on that question and get back to ya!! :-)

Good result 14th or 12th in a no doubt heated competition, well done.

Now may be you should check your In Box I'm guessing there will be an email or two about a couple of site issues which will no doubt by about Thursday leave you wishing you were still on holidays along way away from wireless coverage.

Oh and notice the POV Helmet Cam will provide some good spills and action video when I get a chance to have a look at it and edit it down.

Hmm Old stock eh! I've got a nice new model EO cap - if you want a lend of it for your next run. ;-)

Kerry,

Yes older stock but I did not want to drill holes in the new ones for the mount.

I hope you didnt use 25mm self-tappers. :) Could explain why you are "just" beating a guy with a slight weight disadvantage. LOL

Look forward to seeing how the footage turns out David.

Now, that has to be the turn-around of the decade:
The West actually publishing something other than sensationalist trash.

Though it looks like it should have been at least page 3, not hidden away in the middle of the rag.

Whose arm did you have to rip off to get someone to actually report on it?

Me, cynical? Whatever makes you think that?
